#Kettlercise® for Men and Women #Altrincham

Kettlercise® what is it I hear you say?

The Kettlercise® method takes the basics of kettlebells and puts it into an exercise class environment.

Kettlercise® uses one piece of equipment; a kettlebell.

A kettlebell is a weight that looks a little like a bowling ball with a handle on the top and kettlebells vary in weight.

Kettlebells used in Kettlercise® start at 2kg and increase up to 8kg. The weight may seem to some people to be low, this it is due to how long the exercises are performed with no recovery intervals in between.

The Kettlercise® programme offers you a complete all over body workout with just one piece of equipment a Kettlebell. Kettlercise® is simple to follow, and delivers a lean, toned body. So by attending one of our Kettlercise® classes you can effectively get your cardio, resistance and flexibility training done in just one fun 50 minute class!

There are 37 exercises performed in Kettlercise® and these last for a minute each.

The exercises are performed as follows

Mum's last-ditch fundraising bid to beat brain cancer

Nic with Mae and Finn
Nic is 38 and the mother of  two beautiful children, Mae 9, and Finn 6.  In May last year, Nic was diagnosed with an inoperable brain stem tumour and since then has received radiotherapy at The Christie She has been  given a 10% chance that this will keep it at bay for a while.... Nic is doing amazingly well to be where she is today.

After lots of research by both Nic and her husband Ceri, they have found a clinic in Houston Texas, that can treat very rare forms of cancers. Its a very different approach to treatment and the doctor is pretty controversial and never makes any claims that he cures everybody, but its the only place in the world that offers any glimmer of hope. Faced with such odds, anybody would try to do what they can to live a normal life, As the treatment can only be administered in America it’s expensive, but only comparative to what you would have to pay for treatment here if we didn’t have the NHS. Nic, Ceri and her family need to raise enough money for 2 years treatment (as a minimum) which will be about £200,000.

Nic just wants to be around to see her children grow up. It’s that simple. At present they are just short of £90,000 since starting in January this year. An incredible effort from everybody involved and they are humbled and so grateful for all the help they have received.

A website has been set up to provide more information and links through to donating etc www.nicsroadtorecovery.co.uk and twitter @nicsrecovery and a facebook page under groups nics road to recovery.

If you can provide a donation (however small, this would be hugely appreciated

SO WHATS IT GOT TO DO WITH ME AND WHY AM I OFFERING TO HELP- PLEASE READ ON, NO GIMMICKS!!

Well it's quite simple, I have two lovely children and a wife  and up to know I am healthy. I was indirectly approached to help raise some money by holding a Charity BootCamp in November and to be honest its the least I can do by offering 60 minutes of my time, if it will help raise money and help a family in need then yes I am more than happy to do so.

The Charity BootCamp is to be held on the 10th November, 10am at  Newall Green High School  South Manchester, the cost is £10 per person and is open to all fitness levels. Prior to attending you must register your attendance on the Please Contact Me Box to ensure we can accommodate all attendees

Please please send this on to as many people you know in  Manchester it really would be great to help and the more people we have the more money we can raise , if you cant attend but you would like to help, then please feel free to  provide a donation at www.nicsroadtorecovery.co.uk
Thanks for your time,  Sean

10 Small Steps To Improve Your Health

Summary:

Every year people make health related resolutions, such as lose weight, stop smoking and join a gym but not many people will succeed, Why? This is because people set the bar way to high and suddenly fall on the first hurdle and beat themselves up for failing.

I was once one of those people who wanted immediate results and if I did not get them I would soon kick my toys out of the pram and suddenly I was back to square one. If you set yourself up to fail you will fail... Its as simple as that no BS its true.

Small steps to improve your health are far more easier to manage, results may take a little longer but you are likely to continue with them throughout the rest of your life. Here are my top ten tips, If you need any help drop me a comment and I will get back to you.

Here are 10 to try:

  1. Stop gaining weight. Even if you gain just a pound or two every year, the extra weight adds up quickly.

Easier said than done right? Wrong... Think about something you have everyday and you know is fattening,  replace it with some fruit and then treat yourself at the end of the week with that something
2.  Walk more...

Cutdown on the use of transport, use a pedometer to count your daily steps; then add 2,000, the equivalent of one extra mile. Keep adding steps, 1,000 to 2,000 each month or so, until you take 10,000 steps on most days. If you cant get hold of a pedometer why not think about the bus you take to work, why set off 10-15mins earlier and walk to the next Bus stop and do this every week. If you go to work in a car the same principles apply, park the car further away from the office and walk in.

3. Eat breakfast.

Breakfast eaters tend to weigh less and have better diets overall. For a filling and nutrition-packed breakfast, Try Organic rolled oats, 4 chopped apricots, handful of sultanas, slice one small banana and sprinkle with cinnamon and a small drizzle of honey (Organic) replace the milk with coconut milk

4. Have at least one green salad every day.

Eating a salad (with low-fat or fat-free dressing) is filling and may help you eat less during the meal. It also counts toward your five daily portions of vegetables and fruits.

5. Trim the fat.

Fat has a lot of calories, and calories count. Purchase lean meats, eat poultry without the skin, switch to lower-fat cheeses, use a nonstick pan with only a dab of oil or butter.

6. Consider calcium in your diet great for building strong bones

Try coconut milk

8. Downsize.

The smaller the bag, bottle or bowl, the less you will eat.

9. Lose just 5 to 10 percent of your current weight.

The health benefits are huge-lower blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol and triglycerides.

10. Keep a food diary of  what your eating.

Write down what you eat over the next couple of days and look for problem spots. Often, just writing things down can help you eat less.

Need a kickstart with food? Why not go over to our shop at www.bespokelife.co.uk and purchase a copy of my nutrition guide and Eat-Clean Fat Loss Cookbook, I promise you if you follow it you will lose fat and feel healthier than you ever have done before.

Keep Motivated
