Well this is my first ever blog and I have lots of information and ideas I want to share with you, but I thought I would tell you a little bit about who I am, my experience in fitness, fitness qualifications and I guess more importantly why my wife and I decided to setup Bespoke Life in Altrincham near Hale, Cheshire.
My name is Sean, I am married to Katie and I am blessed with 2 lovely daughters (most of the time :-).
I have been involved in fitness for about 20 years and the disciplines I am qualified in are (See below):
- Indoor Circuit Training
- Torso & Core Stability
- Triathlon
- Boxercise
- Advanced BootCamp Training
- Mega Bands
- Nutrition
- Advanced Nutrition
- Etc, Etc
As you can imagne it really put me off sport but I perservered with the name calling etc and started to get into running, which was easy as the only person I had to compete with was myself. I became a little better and as I got older I started to look at other sports disciplines, by far the hardest but the most enjoyable for me has to be Triathlon. I coach part time at a local club and still to this day I find swimming the toughest part of Triathlon, we are not good at all things!
Bespoke Life came about purely by accident, in fact we started the company based upon friends who were attending local gyms and felt costs were very high for the amount of times they were attending and in fact when it came down to it what it really was the lack of motivation to get to the gym and the drive and conviction of completing an exercise card which had pre determined sets, reps for a specific amount of time- Not really challenging!
Gyms are great if you are a self motivated person and can achive your goals, but if you are not self motivated, you need some body to motivate, guide you and above all make it fun! Why shouldnt exercise be fun as well as challenging, the more fun it is the more you want to keep going back for more... Right?
Bespoke Life are a team of highly trained motivational instructors, the training sessions we hold are Boxercise, BootCamp and Zumba. Yes lots of people provide these types of classes but what i have found is that when people do attend our clasess they really do say we are different in many many ways and this can be found in our testimonials on our website. Motivation,Team Camaraderie and great partner training is what I hear regularly from the people that attend and most people have now been with us for over 12 months.
Anyway as I mentiond earlier this is just a quick intro an d more information will be posted shortly.
If you have any constructive views on what I have said in the above or can relate to past experiences or you need motivation to get to your first community class, drop me a reply
"It is our fear of the unknown that stops us achieving our personal goals, we are all powerful beyond measure"
Many Thanks,
Sean
